“Buds”

I like it slow,
Wet,
Hard,
Deep;
An ache to arouse
Blue buds
That never bloomed.

Braille your way through
Damp magnolias.
Feel hot grazes
Gasp.

Grasping,
Wrenching,
Yearning;
Freedom
From
Belonging.

Welcome home.

Bloomx

In bloom © Jane Bled

Wildflowers kissed
Reverence in lowered lids
Post-coital tristesse

I delight in your disembodied presence, inasmuch as I am seldom alone.

Thank you for coming.

Jane
