Poetry: “Serial”

A train of close-cropped
Arbor-shade
Just shy of
Angle-length
Sweeps across
Soldered flanks of
Gold-medal stays
5-star
Collared strays
Eager to please
To obey
Interlacing a maze
Of delirium’s phase

Played-out
Platitudes
Straddle
Heel-to-toe
Aptitude
Lagging behind
Equatorial latitude
Lolly-gagging muscles
Longitudinal glut
Latticework attitude
‘All that haught for naught’

But she makes you
Blush
With each thrust
Of her Double-Dutch
Clutch
Crimped-hair
Eighties crush
Bet she runs hot
To the touch
You
Not so much
(Not a thought
Just a hunch)

Brawny one
Stock up on
Hurricane fishbowls
Chock-full of
Cane-sugar
Cinnamon
Captain
Crunch
Chew corny booty
For 4AM lunch
Feel free to
Ring her up
Once you’ve
Disarmed
The gun show
And she’ll reel you in
Honeybun
Like
Real slow

Land ho!
‘Sup bro?
Bolster the bandwidth
For a faster-tracked
Download.
